Tassel measures at about 4” (roughly 5” with hardware). 
tassel is sewn center so you won’t find it unraveling like others.  Thickness of tassel May vary, but is roughly 3/4” and can be a little more flat due to the sewn interior. 

Designer upcycled item is also sewn to leather and then hand stitched together
